BEO Lil Kenny has officially released his latest mixtape, BEO Status 3, via Quality Control Music. The 13-track project marks the third installment in the Memphis native’s BEO Status mixtape series, which he launched in 2015 with BEO Status, followed by BEO Status SE. Since making his QC debut with the 1 Foot In, 1 Foot Out mixtape—recorded while finishing a five-year sentence in a halfway house—the Memphis native has continued to build momentum with the release of Don’t Let Up, his joint tape Evil Twins with Stupid Duke, and Federal Flashbacks earlier this year.
Facing the harsh reality of two potential life sentences, Kenny turned to writing as a lifeline, convinced it would be his ticket to a second chance.
