Ty Dolla $ign (@tydollasign) - "girl music vol.1" EP
Ty Dolla $ign returns today with girl music vol. 1, a brand new EP available now via Atlantic Records here. The six-track project is highlighted by "bad bitch alert," which debuted earlier today via New Music Daily Radio with Zane Lowe on Apple Music and features collaborations highlighting three generations of R&B including Ronald Isley, lead singer and co-founder of the Isley Brothers ("nobody has to know"); multi-platinum, GRAMMY Award-winning singer, songwriter, producer, and actress Brandy ("intention") and 3X GRAMMY Award-winning R&B sensation and EZMNY Records signee, Leon Thomas ("miss u 2").
girl music vol. 1 sees Ty's organic return to the more musical, R&B roots that his fans have been known to love from him. With an emphasis on simplicity and musicality, girl music vol. 1 was inspired by a real conversation during a dinner in NYC and was created with girls in mind, aiming to bring back the type of music that girls want to hear for every occasion; while getting ready, while at the club or even while at home thinking about their latest crush.
girl music vol. 1 follows Ty's acclaimed 2025 album, TYCOON, featuring the hit single & instant soundtrack to every party, "DON'T KILL THE PARTY (feat. Quavo & Juicy J)," which is available everywhere. Known for his undeniable ability to elevate every track he touches, the GRAMMY Award-nominated artist leans into his strengths across the star-studded collection: soulful melodic rapping, collaborative synergy, and defying sonic norms. Ty's fourth solo studio project in five years, TYCOON sees him joined by a vast variety of industry legends and genre bending newcomers, including A$AP Rocky, Young Thug, Travis Scott, Leon Thomas, Chloe Bailey, Destroy Lonely, Lil Baby, Lil Wayne, Rich The Kid, Tory Lanez, and 2 Chainz.. Highlights include such recent singles as "WIT IT (feat. Chloe)," "SMILE BODY PRETTY FACE (feat. Kodak Black & YG)," and "DON'T KILL THE PARTY (feat. Quavo & Juicy J)," the latter accumulating over 60 million global streams and earning a coveted spot on the Billboard Hot 100. Ty teamed up with one of today's most in-demand DJs, Disco Lines, for a new version of "DON'T KILL THE PARTY feat. Shoreline Mafia, Quavo & Juicy J." The new version of the already viral hit single lives on DON'T KILL THE PARTY PACK, which is a collection of new features from Shoreline Mafia and Tyga, as well as new production from Disco Lines, Wax Motif, and OG Ron C. - via AntiMusic
