Tee Grizzley (@TeeGrizzley) - "They Forgot" (Album)

Tee Grizzley is reminding people who he is. Tee Grizzley is back with They Forgot, a 16-track album that finds the Detroit rapper leaning into the storytelling and street-focused records that have defined much of his career. The project includes previously released songs “No Effort 2,” “Hard Times” with Hurricane Wisdom, and “Rain” featuring fellow Detroit rapper Skilla Baby. Elsewhere, titles like “Detroit Public Schools,” “Locked Up In Mexico,” and the latest installment of his ongoing “Robbery” series give listeners plenty of the detailed narratives Tee has become known for. Nearly a decade removed from his breakout with “First Day Out,” They Forgot feels less like a reinvention and more like Tee reminding listeners exactly what he does well. - via HotNewHipHop
